A New Roof for Our Sister Church

Tomorrow a team of five head for Haiti to put a new roof on our sister church in the village of Targette. I visited the village in August, 2010 and saw the progress of building the new church. The roof will have steel trusses coverd by corrugated steel. Half trusses are welded at the Church of God (CGGC) missionary station in Borel and are carried up the mountain from where the road ends to Targette (3.5 miles). A welder and generator are also brought up since there is no electricity. The trusses are welded in place. This work will be completed before we arrive. Another project we will be doing is providing electricity using solar panels. More on this later.
